Pay: $18.00 $24.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: MondayFriday 5:30AM-1:30PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Overview:
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is currently seeking a Laser Operator for a metal fabrication company in Phoenix AZ. The Laser Operator will assist with setup and operation of laser cutting machines to produce precision sheet metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate laser cutting machines (Mazak preferred).
Run existing programs and perform quality inspections during production.
Label organize and handle different material grades and thicknesses.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality.
Make basic adjustments and minor program edits as needed.
Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain clean work areas.

Qualifications:

12 years of experience operating laser or CNC equipment preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions.
Basic PC skills; AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a shop environment.
