Stolt Tankers a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL) is the specialist in transporting bulk liquids: Chemicals clean petroleum products vegetable oils biofuels and oleochemicals. What you will be doing

The Buyer will coordinate execution of the Sourcing process and related logistics handling exemptions and contingencies. The Buyer will also provide support to Procurement projects and Vendor Performance Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the operational sourcing process for assigned categories ensuring value for money.
• Manage logistics by coordinating the delivery of supplies to the right place and at the right time with logistics service providers.
• Handle contingency management and exception resolution efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders (ship crews superintendents and fleet managers) to optimize order processes and reduce costs.
• Participate in procurement projects relevant to the assigned sourcing category.
• Review and coordinate the resolution of invoice discrepancies and disputes.

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in Sourcing or Buying roles preferably in the maritime or logistics industry
• Strong communication skills with experience in managing stakeholder interests
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills; proficient in Excel and spend analysis
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Culturally aware and comfortable working in a multinational team; proficient in MS Office applications
