Position Overview
This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning of all bathrooms;
- Daily cleaning of all lunch/break rooms;
- Dusting sweeping vacuuming mopping etc
- Daily emptying of all trash receptacles; and
- Maintain clean external environment around all employee entrances.
Other Important Responsibilities:
- Maintain levels of all cleaning supplies;
- Maintain levels of all paper products;
- Source cleaning supplies when required
- Timely Corrective Action response and resolution to relevant situations
- Engage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness programs
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of mechanical or motorized cleaning equipment
- High School Graduate preferred
- Task oriented excellent organizational skills ability to prioritize work load
- Enthusiastic attitude cooperative team player adaptable to new or changing circumstances professional demeanor self-motivated creative and innovative.
- Utilize strong English language skills both spoken and written to interact effectively with team members and complete job tasks.
Physical requirements and work environment:
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs;
- Must be able to sustain physical work for 8 hours per day including the following:
- Standing
- Reaching and pulling
- Sight
- Walking through shop
- Bending climbing and crouching.
- Office environment is of moderate noise level.
- Shop noise levels are such that protective ear-coverings are recommended.
- Grease oil and water exposure.
- Sometimes subject to external weather conditions.
- Overtime and some weekends required.
