The Analyst Film Planning position plays a key role in the support of Shearers Sourcing and Procurement. The position will be responsible for the management of a key supplier within the procurement organization. The position reports to the Director of Packaging and works cross-functionally between Supply Chain Commercialization and Operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Raw Material Planning Supplier relationship management and inventory control.

Your Seat at the Table:

• Manage Planning and Orders of film that is under project status including customer product launches and art transitions. This includes inventory and demand reviews and check-ins with Commercial for project timing.
• Issue Build order releases
• Work with plant Supply Chain on film expedite needs and contact supplier and solve for the need. Proactively and quickly communicate information back to the business
• Process project invoices through capital program
• Monthly review of Aged Film Inventory and works in conjunction with the Obsolescence team to solve for best outcome
• Assists Category Supervisor with Quality issues as needed from supplier
• Reviews vendor managed inventory orders for excess builds

What you Bring to the Table:

• A bachelors degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Purchasing forecasting and inventory planning
• Systems and Process Knowledge
  • Proficient in MRP/ERP systems
  • Understands how planning decisions impact the broader supply chain
• Strong Analytical Skills
  • Uses forecast data to order optimize inventory and reduce waste
  • Comfortable with ERP systems Excel and data visualization tools
• Detail-Oriented Mindset able to catch discrepancies before they become issues
• Excellent Communication
  • Coordinates effectively with procurement commercial production suppliers and logistics
  • Communicates delays or changes proactively and clearly
• Proactive Problem Solving
  • Anticipates supply chain disruptions and develops contingency plans
