Job Summary

A company is modernizing its data platform to ensure a future-proof foundation. The current on-premise data lake built on Cloudera-supported Apache technologies (Spark NiFi Airflow) needs to be upgraded to meet new compliance and regulatory requirements. They are seeking a qualified consultant to support the migration to a modern cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The target architecture will leverage containerization managed services such as Dataproc and infrastructure-as-code practices. As a consultant you will be part of the team and contribute directly to delivery. This tech stack is currently managed exclusively within the DataOps DCA Tribe making your role crucial for building a sustainable and compliant platform for the future.

Apache Spark

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Python SQL
Database management and ETL processes
Cloudera ecosystem
Scala

Cloud Experience

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) especially Dataproc
Observability and monitoring tools
GCP Event Hubs Elasticsearch Kibana
Command-line interface (CLI) proficiency

On-Premise Stack Experience

CI/CD pipelines
Apache Airflow
YAML Linux Windows

Preferred Soft Skills

Flexibility
Strong English communication skills (Swedish is a plus)
