As a Software Architect Frontend you will play a pivotal role in defining and evolving the frontend architecture of our farm management software and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with software engineers UX designers and product owners to translate ideas into robust technical solutions that stand the test of time.
Your Main Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership
- Define and evolve the frontend architecture to ensure scalability maintainability and performance.
- Create prototypes fail early and converge towards a viable solution.
- Make sound technical decisions that align with long-term product and platform goals.
- Ensure architectural consistency across teams and projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Collaboration & Influence
- Collect input and ideas from software engineers and other stakeholders to make informed architectural decisions.
- Act as a mentor and technical sounding board for frontend engineers.
- Facilitate architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
- Encourage continuous learning.
Technical Excellence
- Stay hands-on with frontend technologies particularly Angular JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Guide the implementation of front-end code to ensure quality and consistency.
- Address technical debt and ensure code quality through reviews and refactoring strategies.
Agile & Cross-functional Work
- Work within Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
- Collaborate with Product Owners UX and DevOps to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Qualifications :
We are looking for a visionary and pragmatic architect with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You should meet the following criteria:
A completed course of study at higher vocational or university level.
- Proven experience in frontend architecture and software design.
- Deep knowledge of Angular and modern frontend technologies (JavaScript TypeScript).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance innovation with technical constraints and business needs.
