Job Summary
- Inspect troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including lighting power distribution control panels and outlets.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems equipment and machinery.
- Repair or replace defective components such as circuit breakers switches wiring or motors.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms public areas and other departments
- Support the Engineering team during power outages generator operations and emergency repairs
- Assist with the maintenance of resort utilities such as generators desalination plants sewage treatment systems and lighting networks
- Work closely with other trades (plumbing HVAC mechanical) to ensure coordinated maintenance activities.
- Assist in new installations upgrades and renovations involving electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams blueprints and technical manuals.
- Install electrical systems for new villas staff accommodations or back-of-house facilities as required.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure proper use of tools and protective equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop and work environment.
- Report any unsafe conditions faulty equipment or potential hazards immediately.
- Adhere to resort and government electrical standards and regulations.
Qualifications :
- 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role in a five-star luxury Hotel / Resort.
- Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Able to communicate in English.
