Job Summary
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer - Combat to join our team to work on Project Sirius - an original video game combining beloved aspects of The Witcher world with immersive multiplayer gameplay.
In this role you will collaborate with our team working in Unreal Engine 5 to build new mechanics and features to generate compelling gameplay. Youll be in charge of defining building and maintaining the core system of character ability management.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Work closely with designers and animators to fulfill the vision of the game
- Build and maintain solid and flexible gameplay systems that work in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
- Write high-quality code that is optimized bug-free and aligned with project goals.
Qualifications :
- At least 10 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry.
- Proficiency in C programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation in technology.
- Extensive multiplayer experience.
- Knowledge of game engine architecture and algorithms.
- Thorough multi-threaded programming skills.
- Excellent communication skills: We have a multilingual and multicultural working environment and the ability to communicate across language and time zone barriers is essential.
Nice to have:
- Shipped at least one Unreal-based project for Xbox Playstation consoles.
- Experience using GAS
Additional Information :
This job can be hybrid/in-office from Boston or fully remote from anywhere in the US or Canada.
