Position Type:Part-Time
Wage Range:$45 - $55 / hour depending on experience.
Bonus: $2500
Location:1900 Ballington Blvd NW Rochester MN 55901
Speech Therapist Responsibilities:
- Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech language voice fluency and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
- Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
- Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
- Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements document progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with Healthcare & Education Teams: Work with doctors teachers and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelors degree.
- Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
- Must possess strong knowledge regarding state federal and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care.
- Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices.
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
