Devoteam Cyber Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dedicated team for one of our key clients in the banking sector.
This pivotal role involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) leading specialised sub-teams and providing hands-on expertise across a range of cybersecurity domains. The consultant will serve as a key technical authority working closely with the clients technology teams to design and implement robust cybersecurity solutions and ensure that strategic projects adhere to secure-by-design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on advanced cybersecurity topics guiding both the client and other consultants.
Lead sub-teams on specific projects or functional areas as directed by the service manager.
Define cybersecurity architectures and controls for strategic digital transformation projects with a focus on digital channels and secure-by-design principles.
Provide expert advice on secure web architecture API security and cloud cybersecurity best practices (Azure AWS GCP).
Support the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (Secure SDLC) by defining technical cybersecurity requirements and validating their implementation.
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for new projects technologies and third-party services.
Contribute to the vulnerability management process incident response activities and the evolution of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in cybersecurity consultancy including demonstrable experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Proven experience in cybersecurity projects within the banking sector particularly in domains like digital channel architecture and related security technologies.
Experience with regulatory projects for the financial sector focusing on cybersecurity operational resilience and data protection.
Solid knowledge of web architecture including front-end back-end APIs and integrations.
Strong command of web authentication and authorisation flows including protocols such as OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect and SAML.
Experience with cloud cybersecurity in IaaS PaaS and SaaS environments (Azure AWS or GCP).
Strong organisational analytical and problem-solving skills.
High sense of ethics integrity and responsibility.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English.
Nice to Have:
Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and/or Lead Implementer CISSP CISM CEH or similar are highly valued.
Participation in cybersecurity communities forums or professional networks.
