Senior, Solutions Architect, Support Ops (Java)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our this role you will be responsible for designing developing and managing Java-based applications. The responsibilities of the role include understanding user requirements working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of plans and delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business needs. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a deep understanding of the Java programming language and is familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC). The candidate needs to be self-motivated and able to drive projects to completion.

The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and implement Java-based applications.

• Analyze user requirements to inform application design.

• Define application objectives and functionality.

• Align application design with business goals.

• Develop and test software.

• Debug and resolve technical issues.

• Integrate applications with third-party web services.

• Support the development team with project needs as necessary.

• Provide code documentation and maintain the functionality of existing applications.

• Design and implement scalable and high-performing solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer with 8 years of experience.

• Experience with Java frameworks (like SpringBoot Hibernate).

• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

• Experience with database architecture and design (SQL NoSQL).

• Understanding of Java GUI frameworks (like Swing SWT AWT).

• Familiarity with Java testing tools.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

• BSc degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

• Experience leveraging cloud solutions in AWS

• Experience with SAML and application security best practices
