Summary:
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will function in collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or advanced practice provider(s) in an ambulatory care setting. Assists in the preparation and delivery of ambulatory patient care as directed by provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Skillfully and consistently performs clinical duties per established departmental policies and procedures. The care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment appropriate to the ambulatory care setting with an emphasis on good customer relations.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma required
Licensure Registration and/or Certification
- Current AEMT certification or license required. Must maintain and keep active.
- Current CPR certification required.
