Hours: 40 M-F
Pay Rate: CASAC-T $28.50 CASAC $30.50
CASAC-T or CASAC required
We are seeking a Substance Use Specialist (CASAC or CASAC-T) to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. This role provides counseling education and recovery support to individuals living with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
The Specialist maintains a small caseload offers individual and group counseling participates in treatment planning and collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary team and community partners. Using a harm reduction and person-centered approach youll help participants work toward their self-identified recovery and life goals.
Responsible for on-call shifts monitoring and responding to after-hours calls to the program emergency phone. Shifts are for one week at a time on a rotating basis
Qualifications:
CASAC or CASAC-T required
Experience with co-occurring disorders and harm reduction practices
Strong communication organizational and crisis management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
