Were looking for a data-savvy professional to join our operations team and help elevate performance across manufacturing and logistics functions. This position blends analytical thinking process refinement and digital systems support. Youll work closely with various departments to modernize planning tools streamline reporting and enable smarter decision-making through data insights and automation.
Job Duties- Gather organize and reshape operational data from platforms like Sage Preactor MES and Forecast X. Partner with frontline teams to ensure accuracy and extract practical insights.
- Use statistical and machine learning techniquessuch as clustering forecasting and anomaly detectionto analyze production trends inventory behavior labor usage and quality metrics.
- Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau to track performance across planning inventory production and credit utilization. Share findings clearly with stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying bottlenecks and recommending data-backed solutions. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement and monitor changes.
- Assist with feature testing and configuration for planning systems (MRP/APS). Work with IT and external vendors to ensure smooth data integration across platforms.
- Map out updated business processes and maintain a centralized repository of procedures system changes and reference materials.
- Create test cases coordinate user testing cycles and collect feedback. Help drive adoption through training communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop quick guides and training content for planners and analysts. Facilitate conversations to ensure successful rollout of new tools and workflows.
- Spend time in production areas to understand real-world challenges and align analytics with operational realities.
Requirements- Solid grounding in statistics and experience applying predictive models to manufacturing or logistics data
- Skilled in Excel SQL Power BI and Tableau; familiarity with Python or R is a bonus
- Experience working with ERP systems (Sage preferred) APS tools (e.g. Preactor) and MES platforms
- Strong data wrangling and visualization abilities to support operational decisions
- Ability to communicate complex findings to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience with documenting workflows and supporting system testing cycles
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project ownership
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced industrial setting
- Degree in a relevant field such as supply chain data science or industrial engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in operations analytics business analysis or manufacturing support
- Familiarity with change management approaches is a plus
