About the Role
At Stacks a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a customer-obsessed product-focused software engineer. Youre driven by outcomes not just tasks. You are passionate about solving customer problems and constantly iterating to create elegant solutions. As part of a small autonomous team youll wear many hats and have a direct impact on the product.
What Youll Do
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the foundation for our infrastructure and AI workloads.
Terraform for infrastructure as code provisioning and automation.
PostgreSQL and Redis for databases and caching.
CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and automated deployments.
Monitoring & Observability tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana or similar) for performance and reliability.
Security hardening to deliver most compliant and safe product our customers.
What You Need
5 years of experience as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer with hands-on work in GCP or other major cloud providers
Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Preferably using GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (SOC2 ISO27001).
Passion for building scalable reliable and secure systems.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
