Were looking for a CFO for our office in Rotterdam to lead the Finance & Operations team across 4 countries. About the job
Within your core responsibilities you will:
Determine strategic direction together with co-directors
Lead the Finance & Operations team of 10 people (Finance Legal IT HR Office Management Impact Measurement)
Oversee financial control business control cashflow management budget steering
Oversee impact measurement and management and assure Envius annual Impact Report
Manage audits compliance donor/grant reporting under Dutch GAAP
Improve and professionalize internal processes and procedures Provide commercial and strategic input on fundraising (grants/philanthropy) and investment management
About you
15 years finance experience; ideally previous in a CFO/Senior Finance Lead role with experience in leading the HR IT/Cybersecurity Impact measurement and Legal areas
Background in progressive NGO/foundation or impact investing and experienced in international multi-entity complexity. You can bring structure in a complex entrepreneurial and fast-paced organization as well as strike the balance between compliance standardization and flexibility
Qualifications: Dutch GAAP expertise; CFA/RA preferred;knowledge of ERP systems (AFAS & PowerBI experience is a plus)
Fluent in Dutch and English
You can act as strategic partner process improver and problem solver while leading by collaboration
Based in the Rotterdam area and willing to occasionally travel internationally to the other locations
