Role Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Team. As an Accountant you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations ensuring accuracy and upholding the integrity of our financial reporting systems. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you will contribute to maintaining financial transparency meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance across the board all while aligning with our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial System Management:

• Bank Account Reconciliation & Processing: Ensure bank transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage ledgers follow up on outstanding invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
• Balance Sheets & Profit & Loss: Prepare journals and perform reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Rental Invoice Management: Oversee rental invoices including EOFY audit letters.

Payroll:

• Onboarding Staff: Ensure accurate payroll setup for new staff members adhering to statutory requirements.
• Payroll Reconciliation: Maintain payroll sheets process payroll for corporate stores and manage journals and accruals.
• Compliance: Ensure timely lodgements for BAS Superannuation and STP for all group entities.

Reporting:

• Assist in the finalisation and delivery of daily weekly or monthly reports as requested.

Operational Systems Management:

• Support the accuracy of financial data in operational tools like TANDA BuyForce Dashboards and Fathom.
• Assist with troubleshooting any technical issues within these systems.

Account Management & Communication:

• Be the main point of contact for suppliers regarding accounts enquiries.
• Process credit applications for the company and ensure effective communication with internal staff related to corporate store accounts.

Skills & Experience:

• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in processing financial transactions and reconciling accounts.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Communication: Clear and concise communication with internal teams suppliers and stakeholders.
