Iron Mountain is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our India Sales Engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of complex strategic data-driven solutions that drive customer success.
The India Sales Engineering team is part of the Global Digital Business Unit and is focused on delivering complex data-driven strategic solutions that power customer success across various Iron Mountain services.
What Youll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role you will:
Responsibility 1: Main Responsibility - with key outputs/deliverables. Actively develop test and deploy code ensuring timely and effective solution implementation and deployment to development (dev) quality assurance (QA) and production environments while maintaining high performance and quality standards.
Responsibility 2: Collaborate with teams stakeholders clients and partners to achieve outcomes. Participate in high-level technical design and architecture and lead or participate in design discussions with various Iron Mountain partner vendors and internal Insight platforms teams to implement complex customer solutions.
Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with organizational standards policies or regulations. Work with partners and build complex strategic solutions using Iron Mountains Digital Experience Platform demonstrate the platform capabilities which will help to shorten the sales cycles.
What Youll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
7 years of experience in software development/coding with a proven track record as a seasoned developer.
Strong knowledge of the following technologies: Java Spring Boot Python React JS and Cloud Technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Docker Images Container as a Service and Kubernetes.
Proven ability in Application Programming Interface (API) Integration (RESTful) understanding Microservices architecture and proficiency with SQL and NoSQL Databases (e.g. Oracle Mongo Dynamo PostGreSQL).
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or a Masters Degree.
Note: Demonstrated technical capabilities in developing Software Development Kits (SDKs) connectors and integrations using Python and Java and experience in Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) will be a significant advantage.
