Shift:Full Time Days
Schedule: Flexible hours/start times between 4am - 3pm. 8 hour shifts rotating weekends and occasional on call as needed

How youll contribute
A Laboratory Assistant who excels in this role will perform basic laboratory duties to include phlebotomy along with other specimen collection and waived testing.
Addition Responsibilities include:
- Ordering processing and distributing laboratory specimens.
- Review of pending reports manifests etc. for outstanding lab results.
- Assisting other lab personnel with specimen storage and retrieval.
- Ensuring Turn Around Times (TATs) are met.
- Maintaining inventory for phlebotomy services reference lab supplies and departmental office supplies.
- Performing phlebotomy duties.
- Assists with receiving identifying accessioning processing and transporting specimens.
- Maintains work area in a safe aseptic and organized manner.
- Performs clerical duties including answering phones data entry and filing.
- Communicates test results to appropriate healthcare providers.

Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
