Aerospace Intercompany Buyer

The Intercompany Buyer is responsible for coordinating material production and intercompany purchasing activities to ensure on-time supply of parts and finished goods.

This role supports production schedules manages inventory levels and communicates with internal sites to keep operations running smoothly.

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager this is an on-site role at our Valencia CA location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and release intercompany purchase orders to support production and customer demand.

• Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to prevent shortages or excess.

• Track and follow up on order status shipments and deliveries.

• Collaborate with manufacturing production quality and supply chain teams to resolve supply schedule or shipment issues.

• Maintain accurate data in MRP system: Intercompany pricing transactions and lead times.

• Create and issue Material Requirements Planning and Work-in-Process status reports

• Support reporting forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Bachelors degree in supply chain or related field preferred

• 1 year of supply chain planning or procurement experience

• Knowledge of MRP system and forecasting methodology preferred

• Aerospace experience preferred

• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• The salary range for this position is $50000-$65000 based on experience.
