Job Title: Financial Accountant (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Eastern Suburbs Perth
Contract Rate: $65$70phS
Perm Salary Range: $120K$130KS (upon conversion)
Calling all heroes (immediately available financial accountants) we are partnering exclusively with a well-established engineering and industrial services business based in Perths eastern suburbs. This organisation supports large-scale manufacturing and project-based clients across WA and is known for its stable leadership modern finance function and high-performing team culture.
They are seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to join them on a temporary basis with a genuine opportunity to transition to permanent employment.

- Broad project portfolio spanning mining construction and infrastructure

- Finance team of five with modern systems and a strong internal controls environment
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and quarterly tax obligations including BAS FBT payroll tax and other statutory compliance
- Take ownership of statutory reporting for half-year and year-end financials
- Be the primary point of contact for external auditors
- Assist with environmental social and governance (ESG) reporting
- Support the Financial Controller with consolidations and technical accounting matters
- Play a key role in process improvement documentation and internal controls
About You
- CA/CPA qualified with strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards
- Previous experience in engineering manufacturing or industrial services preferred
- Confident managing deadlines independently and liaising with auditors
- Strong Excel skills and ERP exposure to Business Central
- Comfortable handling technical tax and compliance obligations in-house
