Description

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals to join our supportive residential team in a part-time substitute capacity. Our 24/7 Residential Programs host individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Providing a therapeutic and stable environment in community and residential settings
Implementing person-centered & strength-based interventions
Transporting clients
Preparing and cooking meals
Medication administration

Ideal applicants have:

Experience in residential programming or working with individuals with mental illness.
Strong communication and organizational skills
A genuine and compassionate personality

Candidates must:

A valid drivers license and the ability to transport clients in personal vehicle.

Qualifications

Associates Degree; or equivalent combination of related education training and experience such as relevant certificate from college or technical school.
