Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a swing shift Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct hire position with a wood manufacturer located in Molalla OR. The person in this position will complete preventative maintenance task and repair and maintain production equipment.

Pay: $28 - $35/hour 12% shift differential

Shift Available:

11:30 AM - 8:00 PM (Monday - Friday) Overtime Potential

Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Determine by scheduled inspections the maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls.
Troubleshoot repair and overhaul electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems on industrial production equipment
Use work orders to determine job priorities. Use CMMS system to document work activities.
Work with vendors and service suppliers regarding service parts and supplies.
Assist in maintenance of building facilities and grounds.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls.
Maintain parts inventory of responsible equipment and support items like welding/cutting supplies steel pipe tube fittings etc.
Follow and monitors safety rules and procedures. Acts as a safety advocate.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

Associate Degree in applicable field or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year of Maintenance Technician Experience
Strong mechanical ability; Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics; Electrical systems knowledge and repair
Woodworking or relevant equipment experience
Ability to work Saturday shift as needed
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Benefits:

$28-$35/hr depending on experience 12% shift differential for swing shift
