We are looking for a Strategic Product Manager to enhance our Smart Cable Guard team to help our customers monitor their cable grid in the best way possible.

Smart Cable Guard (SCG) is a real-time multi-functional monitoring system for distribution power cable grids. The SCG system has two unique functions: 1) detecting and locating weak spots using partial discharge measurement and 2) detecting and locating faults in power cables. And more functions are being developed. The system is rolled out in more than 20 countries in 5 continents. Want to know more about Smart Cable Guard Clickhere!

When we sell SCG we do not only sell a box but we strive to help our customers to get the most out of Smart Cable Guard and to provide insights in the condition of their distribution grids. We collaborate with our customers to get the most out of SCG in their grid and organization. More functions are being deployed to respond to challenges in the industry.

Qualifications

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence
    • Analyze global trends in power grid monitoring and fault detection technologies.
    • Benchmark competitors and emerging solutions to inform product positioning.
    • Define pricing strategies.
  • Customer Engagement & Validation
    • Lead structured testing and feedback sessions with grid operators (utilities critical infrastructure wind).
    • Understand customer workflows across departments (e.g. operations asset management IT).
    • Translate insights into product improvements.
  • Change Request & Requirements Management
    • Work with customers to understand their needs and work collaboratively to create solutions.
    • Align feature requests with our product vision and roadmap.
    • Align with stakeholders on scope feasibility and impact.
    • Define clear requirements for development teams.
  • Strategic Product Planning
    • Provide strategic input to the Chief Product Officer on roadmap portfolio and market entry strategies.
    • Support quarterly planning and long-term product visioning.
    • Define product KPIs to enable quantitative business decisions.
    • Lead product launches.
  • Business Analysis & Domain Mapping
    • Map customer workflows and operational contexts to product capabilities.
    • Collaborate with domain experts and engineering to ensure product relevance and usability.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years in product management or business analysis in technical B2B environments and recurring revenue business models.
  • Experience working with utilities grid operators or industrial monitoring systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work across cultures and geographies.
  • Familiarity with agile development and product lifecycle management.
