As part of our USCIS contract we are hiring Scheduling Coordinators to ensure interpreters and translators are assigned efficiently and service requests are fulfilled on time.

Responsibilities

Manage daily scheduling of OPI VRI ASL and document translation assignments.
Confirm interpreter availability and fill requests within USCIS timelines (72-hour confirmation rule).
Handle urgent/surge requests and coordinate activation of the 200 linguist surge pool.
Maintain interpreter schedules and update availability in the scheduling system.
Track assignments for reporting billing and compliance.
Communicate with linguists project managers and CORs to ensure real-time coverage.
Monitor cancellations no-shows and SLA performance for quality control.
Provide after-hours coverage on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Communications or related field (preferred).
12 years of scheduling dispatching or operations coordination experience (language services or government contract a plus).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with scheduling tools Excel and secure platforms.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and able to pass a Tier 3/Tier 5 background investigation.
