Job Summary
Are you a nurturing and creative Year 1 teacher who loves helping children make a confident start to Key Stage 1 Do you enjoy building strong foundations in literacy numeracy and personal development If so wed love to welcome you.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our inclusive and high-achieving school in Surrey from January 2026. This permanent role is open to full-time and part-time applicants with potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate.

- Position: Year 1 Teacher
- Location: Surrey
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time considered
- TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Year 1 Teacher you will:
- Lead a Year 1 class through an engaging and inspiring curriculum
- Support pupils literacy numeracy and social development
- Monitor and assess progress to ensure every child achieves their potential
- Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom culture
- (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase area
What Were Looking For
- QTS and experience in Key Stage 1
- Strong understanding of Year 1 curriculum and assessment
- Creative reflective and organised teaching approach
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing
