A well-resourced Good primary in Surrey is looking for an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their KS1 phase on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 1 Teacher will be invited to pre-term planning sessions prior to January 2026 attend a structured induction in January 2026 and be teaching from January 2026. (Year 1 Teacher) Responsibilities
The Year 1 Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality phonics guided reading and writing lessons as the Year 1 Teacher.
The Year 1 Teacher will develop number fluency through practical maths and real-world problem solving. The Year 1 Teacher will run targeted intervention groups and track progress carefully.
The Year 1 Teacher will liaise with parents contribute to enrichment and lead a class with warmth and high expectations. The Year 1 Teacher will attend phase meetings before January 2026 and continue professional learning after January 2026.

(Year 1 Teacher) Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent KS1 experience as a Year 1 Teacher.
Excellent phonics practice classroom management and an inclusive approach expected of the Year 1 Teacher.
A Year 1 Teacher who is reflective collaborative and ready to start pre-term planning ahead of January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher.
