Primary job title: UI/UX Design Intern
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design clear user flows wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces for web and mobile.
- Translate user research and analytics into interactive prototypes; run rapid usability tests and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Create pixelperfect UI screens and interaction specifications that align with product goals and accessibility standards.
- Contribute to and maintain a lightweight design system and reusable component library to ensure consistency across products.
- Prepare design deliverables and developer-ready assets (specs redlines exportable assets) and collaborate during implementation.
- Present design hypotheses and outcomes to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to improve usability and conversion metrics.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work with end-to-end screens and interaction flows
- Proficiency in Figma
- Strong wireframing and interactive prototyping skills
- Basic user research and usability testing capability
- Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
- Comfortable using remote collaboration tools (Miro Zeplin Slack)
Preferred
- Familiarity with Adobe XD
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding
- Exposure to design systems and component-driven design
