Job Summary

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a hire a skilled and commercially minded Accountant with SAICA or SAIPA qualification and 35 years experience in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge proven expertise in multi-entity financial management and the ability to provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

SAIPA/SAICA qualified with 3-5 years of hospitality experience.
Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of IFRS for SMEs / GAAP.
Proven ability in reconciliations VAT and month-end close.
Strong Excel and Xero (or similar) skills.
Experience managing multi-entity structures essential.
Commercially minded able to analyze performance and support budgets.
Confident communicator across all levels.
Highly organized detail-focused and proactive.

Requirements

SAICA or SAIPA qualified accountant.
35 years relevant experience in the hospitality industry
Strong accounting knowledge including IFRS for SMEs and GAAP.
Proven ability in reconciliations VAT and month-end close.
Experience managing multi-entity structures essential.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
Commercially minded with strong analytical skills.
Excellent organizational skills attention to detail and proactive approach.
Confident and professional communication skills at all levels.
