Team Environment: Work alongside a cohesive group of 6 EM physicians and 7.5 APPs who value teamwork and clinical excellence.
Modern Facility: Level III Trauma Center with a 21-bed ED 6 fast-track beds and 14 ICU beds.
Comprehensive Coverage: 27 hours/day of physician coverage and 22 hours/day of APP coverage.
Manageable Volume: Annual ED visits of approximately 24440 with only a 10.8% admission rate and 1.5% transfer rate.
What Were Looking For
Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency (ABEM or AOBEM board certified/eligible preferred).
Physicians with Internal Medicine or Family Medicine training and strong EM experience are encouraged to apply.
Must hold PALS BLS ACLS and ATLS certifications.
Schedule & Responsibilities
9-hour shifts: 5:30 am2:30 pm 1:30 pm10:30 pm 9:00 pm6:00 am
Participate in floor codes including neonatal resuscitation.
Perform bedside ultrasound (CT available in-house; MRI on-call overnight).
Supported by a robust network of specialists including Anesthesiology Cardiology Internal Medicine OB/GYN and more.
