SES Services Supervisor Overnight

The SES Supervisor is responsible for carrying out the essential duties and responsibilities of Security and Emergency Services operations under the direction of the Manager in accordance with the GS Operations Manual and all applicable policies and SOPs. This position promotes the safety security and well-being of residents employees and visitors as a uniformed visible presence in the community. The SES Supervisor is also responsible for providing supervision and oversight of an assigned shift. The SES Supervisor delivers exceptional customer service and hospitality and fosters an environment of diversity inclusion and belonging.

SES SUPERVISOR - OVERNIGHT - 7PM to 7AM

Week # 1 SHIFT: SUNDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY 48 hours

(OFF: MONDAY TUESDAY & SATURDAY)

Week # 2 SHIFT: MONDAY TUESDAY & SATURDAY 36 hours

(OFF: SUNDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY & FRIDAY)

How you will make an impact

• Responsible for the security of the community through the use of gatehouse patrols access control visitor/contractor registration key management and other programs
• Monitor safety programs to include; Security Department safety inspections responses to workplace accidents hazard communication programs respiratory mask fit testing programs and others as needed
• Partner with SES Manager to update and maintain the Emergency Preparedness Plans
• Ensure completion of Incident Reports daily shift reports and responds to calls for service
• Assist in hiring training coaching counseling of employees
• Establish schedules reviews and approves timesheets completes performance evaluations
• Provide daily leadership supervision motivation and communication to direct and indirect reports

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Internal candidate at least 1 years of experience as a SES Asst. Supervisor or at least 2 years as a SES Officer 2 (EMR) or SES Officer 3 (Lead) in good standing.
• External candidate at least 2 years of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience
• MUST be able to pass a background drug test & fingerprint clearance before employment
• MUST have a current valid drivers license
