For analysis we expect the applicant to take advantage of state-of-the-art machine learning tools currently available from deep learning to denoising diffusion scientific machine learning differentiable programming or neurosymbolic artificial intelligence. There is a tremendous and as yet untapped opportunity to extract synergy from data analytics and our practitioners knowledge of clinical medicine. We aim to help the candidate realize this potential to impact patient care.
A candidates experience in the lab could lead in several future directions including academia medical school or the healthcare industry. Past lab members have successfully pursued all of these directions. Our collective experience straddles them all and we expect to provide mentorship in all aspects of career development.
