REPORTING TO: SPA DIRECTOR & GYM SUPERVISOR
SCOPE OF ROLE
Coordinating all aspects of the Gym and Personal Training driving fitness operating criteria staff relations and training.
The Gym Intern will play a key role in the Gym & Spas vision of success ensuring the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout all aspects of the fitness operation.

FITNESS SALES
Order and keep appropriate par levels of stock at all times. Encourage clients to return to the gym and spa by recommending an ongoing fitness programme and cross selling the other business centres in the a sound knowledge of all treatments packages and any promotions. Participate in demonstrations/ events as required. Play an active role in creating new initiatives in fitness and cross selling promotions.
GUEST RELATIONS
Regularly record guest preferences accurately updating guest profiles and programmes. Ensure confidentiality at all times including data protection medical details and any information provided in confidence by the client. Deal with any client complaints promptly and effectively ensuring client satisfaction is not any grievances and follow up accordingly communicating with the Spa Director at all times. Attend necessary meetings relaying up to date information from the fitness department communicating the days business guests and any relevant activities to other relevant departments. Respond and confirm client booking requests with hotel booking system. Interact with all guests within the Gym and Spa facilities providing the highest level of customer service.
OPERATIONS/GENERAL
Ensure that the fitness area is well presented clean and free of clutter. Demonstrate a professional demeanour at all times particularly with regard to punctuality appearance and general manner. Work a flexible rota. Manage and lead Training and Development of new Staff in Workshop system. Create and Prepare Monthly budgeting and P & L Reports alongside Spa Director. Share Monthly P & L Reports with Workshop Management team. Work alongside Spa Director and Workshop Management team in creating and developing new business ideas
