REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Oversee and provide guidance to assigned staff in the coordination of Extended Day Program operations at multiple assigned sites; serve as liaison between extended day site staff the Director and/or Coordinator and Site Principal; prepare organize and maintain site instructional materials to support staff and promote students learning.
Monitor and coordinate extended day programs at assigned sites; assure compliance with Program policies and procedures; implement approved academic and enrichment activities for students.
Train and provide work direction to assigned personnel; provide input and assistance in the selection and evaluation of new staff; prepare work schedules for assigned staff; adjust staff schedules as needed; review assigned staff time cards and report tardiness to program director.
Communicate with parents administrators principals personnel and outside agencies to exchange information and resolve issues or concerns.
Perform instructional assistant duties in the absence of assigned staff.
Assist in the collection preparation and maintenance of screening and assessment data.
Prepare and maintain a variety of records logs reports notes and files; compose email correspondence independently.
Assist in managing budget at assigned site; inventory and order supplies for assigned sites; submit purchase orders and receipt reimbursements to administration.
Monitor and manage extended day program attendance database; review attendance sheets for accuracy.
Support and ensure timely pick up of all students at assigned sites and assist staff with resolving issues of students left after center closes.
Monitor students in program activities and perform recess supervision guiding students into safe play activities.
Assist students to develop communication skills and serve as an appropriate language model.
Perform routine first aid and seek assistance for non-routine illnesses or injuries; assure the health and safety of students by following health and safety practices and procedures.
Participate in staff meetings and attend in-services as required.
Maintain classroom in a safe sanitary and orderly condition.
Operate a variety of audio-visual office and instructional equipment.
Drive a vehicle to conduct work and to travel to assigned school sites.
