Job Summary

Assembly Test Technician

As an Assembly Technician you will perform technical testing and processing of infra-red/I2/fusion camera related products in support of all phases of production.

LOCATION: North Billerica Massachusetts 01862
POSITION: Contract
PAY RANGE: $28.00hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform system level functional and optical performance testing and troubleshooting on a variety of challenging surveillance/defense sub-assemblies and finished end-product camera systems.
Test camera systems and critical sub-assembly components in accordance to manufacturing test specifications (test instructions test data sheets functional ATPs optical alignment performance criteria and system discrepancy reporting).
Interface with production team and technical support staff to maintain manufacturing quality and efficiency while actively participating in day-to-day manufacturing goals.
Inspect and verify all daily work to ensure it is performed accurately and efficiently according to all quality performance specifications.
Interface with technical team to ensure all manufacturing test methods are standardized and documented to the latest versions.
Support the maintenance of test fixtures and test equipment.
As directed provide support in test process improvement projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
AS degree in electronics or technical equivalent with 3 years related technical experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Technical versatility: electrical mechanical optical alignment testing IR testing experience a plus.
Troubleshooting skills and proficiency with set up and usage of test and alignment equipment preferred.
Proficiency in use of windows-based Office applications optical test SFW and MES SFW for accessing digital work instructions test data collection traceability reporting and communicating preferred.
Practical problem-solving skills.
Attention to technical detail.
Ability to communication clearly both verbally and in writing.
Collaboration teamwork and ability to contribute independently.
