Job Summary
This is a remote position.
- Contract type: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Flexible in AEST business hours Monday-Friday 40 hours

Our client believes in creating meaningful helpful content that builds connection community and confidence. As they grow theyre looking for a hands-on YouTube Manager who is both technically savvy and creatively aligned.
- Manage and schedule content across three YouTube channels
- Edit and repurpose video content (shorts reels thumbnails intros/outros)
- Create compelling titles thumbnails and SEO descriptions
- Upload tag and organize videos using best-practice metadata and playlists
- Monitor analytics and suggest improvements for engagement and retention
- Collaborate with the founder to develop content calendars and growth strategy
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips for YouTube Shorts Instagram Reels etc.
Support in building YouTube monetization and community features
Requirements
- Have strong experience with YouTube Creator Studio and video editing tools (e.g. Final Cut Pro Adobe Premiere or CapCut)
- Know how to craft high-retention videos and click-worthy thumbnails
- Are data-informed and understand how to read and act on YouTube analytics
- Can work independently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Have an eye for design and storytelling in educational/insightful content
- Are organized reliable and excited to grow with a creative business
Bonus: Background in education coaching wellness accounting or small business
- YouTube Studio Canva CapCut Final Cut Pro Notion Google Workspace Trello or ClickUp
