Supply Chain Manager

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee the planning execution and optimization of our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex supply chains collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving business growth through data-driven insights. This role is critical to ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers while minimizing costs and waste.

Responsibilities

Oversee materials requirement planning (MRP) aligned with production forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste and holding costs.
Collaborate with production and R&D teams to manage ingredient lead times and formulation changes ensuring seamless execution of production plans.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics optimizing transportation routes and freight costs while ensuring product integrity.
Manage third-party logistics providers and warehouse operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain execution.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build accurate demand forecasts monitor sales trends and adjust production schedules accordingly.
Align supply chain activities with promotional calendars and seasonal demand spikes to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
Track KPIs (e.g. OTIF inventory turnover supplier lead time) and report performance to stakeholders.
Lead cost-reduction and efficiency projects to drive business growth and improve supply chain resilience.
Leverage ERP systems and digital tools for real-time visibility and decision-making.

Requirements

5 years of supply chain experience preferably in the food or confectionery industry.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar).
Excellent analytical negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles including demand forecasting inventory management and logistics optimization.
