Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mentor and manage a team of full stack developers in our Chennai office.
- Oversee the design development and delivery of scalable high-quality software solutions.
- Drive the architecture and implementation of mobile applications (iOS & Android) alongside web-based platforms.
- Establish coding standards conduct code reviews and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product management design and stakeholders in the U.S. to align business goals with technical execution.
- Ensure reliable secure and efficient system performance through proactive troubleshooting and optimization.
- Guide database design and API development to support scalable applications.
- Champion agile practices DevOps principles and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay current with emerging technologies particularly in GIS cloud and mobile development.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (Masters preferred).
- 7 years of professional experience in full stack development with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Demonstrated experience managing development teams preferably in an offshore or distributed model.
- Proven success in building deploying and maintaining mobile apps (iOS and Android).
- Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks ( or similar).
- Strong expertise in back-end development (Django preferred) and API design.
- Solid experience with databases (SQL PostgreSQL MongoDB).
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes Linux and Elastic Stack.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills including working across time zones.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical contributions with strategic team leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GIS-based applications or cloud-based GIS solutions.
- Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices continuous integration and automated deployments.
- UI/UX sensitivity and ability to guide design decisions.
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience scaling SaaS or enterprise platforms.
