Job Summary

Summary:

Must have drivers license with access to your own vehicle!
Must be available for shift work and be available to be on call.

This role requires a dedicated individual to join a team committed to maintaining a safe supportive and caring environment for individuals who may not communicate verbally and may exhibit challenging behaviours. The position is crucial in ensuring the well-being and independence of service users aligning with the companys values and the Challenge Charter. The role involves supporting daily activities including cooking and cleaning and requires access to a personal vehicle due to the sites location.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with the staff team ensuring clear communication.
  • Provide individual support to service users aligning with service objectives.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours including weekends evenings and overnight duties.
  • Participate in planning delivering and reviewing care plans assuming keyworker responsibilities as needed.
  • Empower service users to live independently respecting their rights and choices.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable individuals.
  • Facilitate service users access to public facilities and community activities.
  • Maintain a clean safe and comfortable environment in collaboration with colleagues and service users.
  • Complete administrative tasks as assigned by management.
  • Engage in staff appraisals supervisions and meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Report equipment issues to management.
  • Present a professional appearance in line with organizational guidelines.
  • Undertake training as directed by management.
  • Be prepared to work at different locations if required.

Required Skills:

Requirements: Registration in Wales Adult social work experience Readiness to handle cases immediately Must be able to answer basic questions at interview for this post including knowledge of the relevant legislation.
