Your role
As an estara Support Worker you will work with our clients in their homes and the community to enable their utmost independence and improve their quality of life making a real impact in Kingston due to growing services in the South East.
Day-to-day you will support clients living with all disabilities to reach their goals build their capacity and complete daily living activities. Responsibilities include personal and complex care household task support recreational and community access assistance plus more. Every estara client receives unique support tailored to their needs and aspirations allowing you to enjoy great variety in your role and see the positive change you are influencing in peoples lives.

Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate compassionately with a diverse range of people
Ability to work autonomously and respond with empathy in stressful situations
Problem-solving and time management skills
Willingness to perform shift work including sleepovers weekends and public holidays
Available and willing to attend Mount Gambier for our paid pre-employment training session from 10th-16th November 2025
Desirable
Qualifications in Individualised Support or other relevant discipline(s)
Demonstrated experience working with people living with disabilities including manual handling and personal care tasks
Knowledge of NDIS restrictive practices legislation and positive behaviour support
Special conditions
Full working rights in Australia
Current South Australian drivers licence and a reliable vehicle
Willingness to obtain both a DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
Willingness to obtain Provide First Aid certification (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011)
