Responsibilities
- Organize schedule of deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and operability of delivery vehicle.
- Perform safe pick-up and deliveries.
- Keep parts department up to date on delivery schedule.
- Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients.
- Count weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Verify information against invoices orders and other records
- Determine method of shipment
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
- Sweep floors and empty trash containers daily and maintain a clean parts department
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Prompt and courteous demeanor
- Positive and hardworking personality
- Eagerness to improve
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
