Investment Operations Specialist (Investment Management)
- Location: Boston - Financial District
- Hybrid: 3 days in office 2 days remote
- 1 year contract

- Ensure data integrity accurate portfolio accounting and timely reconciliation.
- Across custodian fund administrators counterparties and internal systems.

Responsibilities
Reconciliation of Account Holdings/Activity
- Check portfolio holdings trading activity and cash balances with the custodian banks statements.
- Research and resolve any outstanding differences.
Facilitate Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reporting
- Ensure accounting data is correct by performing account reviews at month end.
Oversight of outsource providers
- Serve as a primary liaison with outsourced accounting and reconciliation providers.
Oversight of Cash and Asset Reconciliation
- Review currency balance and holdings exceptions between accounting systems and custodians/counterparties using reconciliation tools.
- Check that currency accounts are not overdrawn.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data alignment and process integrity.
Trade Support
Oversee & Maintain Custodian Relationships
Qualifications
- 2 years of fund accounting / operations or related Investment Management experience.
- Strong analytical background and knowledge of financial accounting principles required.
- Experience working with or overseeing outsource providers custodian banks and fund administrators.
- Demonstrated organizational interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Detail oriented flexible ability to work independently and within a team-orientated environment.
- Demonstrated initiative problem-solving skills.
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics Economics or another financial related degree preferred.
