As a Hospice CNA heres a big-picture view of what youll do:
- Provides services as stated in each patients hospice care plan.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing dressing grooming light housekeeping meal preparation shopping transportation andcompanionship.
- Help with ambulation transferring and range of motionexercises.
- Provide medication reminders document their condition and notify a supervisor of anyconcerns.
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructedpathways.
- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles games reading andhobbies.
A few must-haves for Hospice CNA:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)and active CNACertification in South Carolina
- 1 yearof experience as a CNA
- Hospice experience
- CPRcertification
- Valid drivers license auto insurance and transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
