Customer Service Representative (Onsite)
Location: Hartford CT
Pay Rate: $19.36 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Weekends Off

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Customer Service Representative to join our onsite customer support this role you will serve as the first point of contact for customers assisting with program information account inquiries and online portal support such as password resets.

This position requires strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to maintain professionalism and empathy when assisting callers including those who may be frustrated or upset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial point of contact for inbound inquiries related to program and account information.
  • Provide accurate courteous and professional assistance to consumers and providers.
  • Perform password resets and portal access troubleshooting.
  • Log all interactions accurately in the call tracking system.
  • Escalate complex issues to leadership or other departments as appropriate.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Handle and document complaints according to established procedures.
  • Maintain high levels of quality accuracy and professionalism on every call.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call volume quality and service standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalentrequired
    • Associate degree or higher may substitute for call center experience
  • Minimum 6 months of call center experience preferred
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute (onsite typing test required)
  • Must pass a customer service assessment
