POSITION: Production Worker / Machine Operator
STATUS: Full-Time
SHIFT: Afternoons - 3:00pm - 11:15pm
START DATE: As soon as possible
STARTING WAGE: $21.00 per hour

EFS-Plastics Inc. is a successful growing recycling company that recovers plastic from residential recycling programs. Your detergent bottles milk jugs and plastic bags all end up at EFS where we turn them into plastic resin pellets that can be used to make new products. Our fully automated processes divert mixed plastics from ending up in landfills not only reducing waste but also conserving valuable resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking highly motivated and self-driven Production Workers / Machine Operators to monitor and maintain automated production systems while ensuring quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive have strong problem-solving skills and work well in a team-oriented environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and operate fully automated production system to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform frequent quality checks on products.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
- Assist with some mechanical repairs.
- Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
- Notify the shift leader or management with any equipment related issues.
- Assist in the training of new operators.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Positive attitude and engaged in your work.
- Open and adaptable to daily feedback on performance.
- Able to plan prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
- Reliable consistent attendance punctual and dependable.
