Job Description
As a Junior Product Manager Software you will be part of the Product & Technology (P&T) group supporting the definition and execution of the product vision for Toradexs software stack from embedded Linux to cloud-based tools. You will work closely with senior PMS engineering marketing and customer-facing teams to help ensure our software offerings deliver value and align with customer and market needs.
This role is ideal for someone early in their product management career who wants to grow into a strong technical product leader. Youll learn how to balance strategy and execution and gain hands-on experience with embedded and IoT technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support senior Product Managers in defining and maintaining the product roadmap.
- Participate in market research competitive analysis and customer interviews.
- Translate customer and business needs into product requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate with engineering teams during planning development and release cycles.
- Help coordinate software release notes documentation and internal product communication.
- Track and analyze product KPIs usage data and customer feedback.
- Contribute to improving product management processes and tools.
Desired Candidate Profile
Mandatory:
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of software development processes or lifecycle.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional multicultural teams.
- Previous experience (internship trainee or 12 years) in product management software development or related roles.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum practices.
- Understanding of embedded systems Linux orIoT technologies.
- Understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) technologies.
- Experience working with developer tools issue trackers (e.g. Jira) or analytics dashboards.
Willing to learn:
- Product management techniques and tools including helping the PM Team with their implementation.
- Business and technical aspects of embedded Linux and cloud-connected devices.
- Data-driven decision-making for software products.
- Communication with stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains.
