Job Summary

The HR Generalist serves as a key partner to employees and managers by managing core HR programs and providing guidance across critical areas. This role focuses on fostering positive employee relations administering benefits programs and overseeing leave of absence processes to ensure compliance and support for employees throughout their employment lifecycle.

Employee Relations

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns providing coaching and guidance to managers and employees.
    • Conduct internal investigations into employee complaints or misconduct.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of employee relations activities.
    • Support managers with progressive discipline processes including written warnings performance improvement plans and terminations when necessary.

Benefits Administration

    • Communicate employee benefits programs answer employee questions and serve as the primary liaison with HQ and vendors.
    • Assist employees with benefits questions claims and enrollment processes.
    • Facilitate health and wellness onsite initiatives.

Leave Management

    • Manage all leave of absence processes including FMLA ADA and workers compensation claims.
    • Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate with payroll benefits and legal teams to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
    • Maintain meticulous documentation and reporting related to leaves of absence.

Other HR Responsibilities

    • Design and lead employee engagement and cultural appreciation events and programs.
    • Collaborate with leaders to strengthen workplace culture and ensure employees feel connected valued and recognized.

What Youll Need:

    • 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role supporting key functions such as employee relations benefits or compliance.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working with HRIS systems.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with a commitment to providing quality support to employees and managers.
