Jr. File System Developer

Tuxera is looking for a motivated and curious Junior File System Developer to join our Hungary team.

This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers who are passionate about embedded systems C programming and low-level software development and who want to grow their skills in a world-class engineering environment.

What Youll Do

• Participate in the design implementation and testing of new features for Tuxeras file system and connectivity products.
• Support integration and customization of Tuxera technologies for customer solutions.
• Work closely with senior engineers to understand product architecture and development processes.
• Assist in debugging code reviews and continuous improvement of our software.
• Learn about embedded systems and file system technologies while contributing to real projects.
• Evaluation of performance and features across multiple file systems

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Software Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Solid understanding of C programming.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems or real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take responsibility and work as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of coding standards (e.g. MISRA).
• Exposure to version control systems such as Git.
• Interest in file systems and embedded software development.
