Job Description
To evaluate plan direct and administer programs of physical therapy as prescribed by the referringphysician and as evidenced by the patients needs. To complete patient-related documentation ensuring content and timeliness to meet all professional requirements and legal/regulatory specifications. To provide oversight of direct activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs. May participate in clinical training and supervision of assigned students and interns. To work in Acute Care Inpatient Rehabilitation and/or Outpatient areas of care as assigned. To commit to work three (3) 10-hour shifts Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday.
Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy and two (2) years of Physical Therapy experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
