The research laboratory of Dr. Thomas Iadecola is looking to hire a postdoctoral scholar. The successful candidate will perform theoretical research at the interface of quantum many-body physics and quantum information science. Specific topics of interest include dynamics in closed and open quantum systems digital and analog quantum simulation with quantum computers or atomic-physics platforms and quantum algorithms for quantum many-body physics.
A PhD in Physics is required. The ideal candidate will have numerical simulation skills with exact diagonalization/quantum-circuit techniques and/or approximate tensor-network methods. Analytical skills with integrability random-matrix theory dual-unitary circuits hydrodynamics or field-theoretic methods are also beneficial.
